OW GMC entry level interview offer sent 10 days ago, just read now. have bridges been burnt?

Hi guys,

So my gmail is really shit, lots of shppping deals etc. So some stuff tends tk get lost in the mail. I took the online test dor ow and thought I did shit, but I have been offered an interveiw and they asked to confirm my availavility for some time 3 days frkm now. I only just read and replied but im shitting my pants here; do u think I have burnt my bridges by taking too long?

Also, if u could post some helpful links about eco consulting intrviews or if u could practice some cases with me, please post below or pm
Thanks a lot

update. interview is confirmed right after i get off work in 3 days. will need a lot of luck to get through this i feel, definitely not as prepared as i want to be. will have to cram as much as i can, when i can. getting CiP later today, and had a couple of mock cases with a friend in ATK. Does anyone know how similar the cases will be? im assuming it would be pretty similar since both are mgmt consulting, but i could be wrong.

I think it depends heavily on who your interviewer is. My OW first round interviewer had a lot of background in healthcare, the case was figuring out the percentage of low-profit insurance policies vs. high-profit insurance policies needed to achieve some x% target growth in n years as measured in revenue. Best of luck!

hmm. so would the answer to that be something like this?:

get the average return on an insurance policy per year, then use a weighted average formula with the target growth rate= x(average return)+ (100-x)(average return), where x is the share of low-profit insurance policy in the total product mix, and 100-x is the share of high-profit insurance policy?

of course, before this, we would need to do the whole figuring out the healthcare market bit, using US population, then who are eligible for healthcare..

im curious, how did u figure out the problem?

also, what questions did you ask the interviewer at the end of the interview?
