PWC Now
I've read comments on other discussions the merger and how people at the lower levels of Booz are expected to jump ship.
But does this news all truly bode poorly for the newly assembled firm.
As far as exits opps are concerned, have things improved at all for someone potentially joining the firm (PwC) next year?

I think it's too early to tell. It all depends on how PwC manages the integration. If they can come out of it with a stronger brand in the market, then exit opportunities will be better. I think it's worth seeing how the Monitor and Deloitte integration pans out because that could be an indicator of what's to come for Booz and PwC.
Also, I don't think it's the lower level people at Booz who are most likely to jump ship. If you look at Monitor, more senior people than lower people have left.
