Resume Review: After 1 year investment banking experience, try to break into consulting through graduate school

Hi, I would appreciate it very much if someone can have a look at my CV.

I have 1.5 investment banking experiences (6 months rotation in private banking). Now doing a master degree aiming for consulting. I have rephrased my IB experiences into more consulting style CV. Not sure if any IB jargons are still left there or this is consulting oriented enough. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you so much!
J

@jessieliuzx Figured it'd be most effective to do a quid pro quo arrangement. That is, I have also posted my resume for suggestions - I'd truly appreciate it if you gave it a quick glance after receiving my feedback on your resume. • Capitalize the "c" in "candidate" under your pending LSE degree
  • Consider converting all text to black font as opposed to the blue/black combination that you're currently using
  • Under your first experience, consider rephrasing the first bullet point to say something along the lines of "Facilitated new product launching for [Name of Industry] company by executing on-site clientele demographic and consumption survey . . ."
  • Second bullet under first experience: "Led corporate governance restructuring of [Name of Industry] client . . ."
  • Third bullet under first experience: "Performed comparable companies analysis, industry research, and sensitivity analyses to identify potential M&A/ECM business opportunities for [Name of Industry] company"

In general, you should try to avoid using the "clients'", "investors'", and "users'" possessive noun form. I would suggest going through your resume and modifying it to "client", investor", "user".

Under "Scholarship & Awards," capitalize the "I" in "individual, the "U" in "up, and the "G" in "group" for the BERHAUS Case Competition line.

In the education section, possibly consider taking out "Yantai No.1 Middle School" and solely keeping your university-level coursework.
