Best Large Tech Co Culture?

Hello Monkeys

Looking to move into Tech mainly for culture reasons (had enough of Hardo finance / lack of respect for employee culture) - other than FAANG, can anyone from large tech cos comment on culture / WLB? Thanks

Nobody beats Microsoft in terms hourly pay. Things obviously depend on your team/manager, but from what I've heard from some SWEs/PMs work 10-15 hours per week and there are weeks where certain finance roles do damn near nothing. It's seriously that chill. But the overall pay package is peanuts compared to Google, Meta, Netflix, Stripe, Snap, ByteDance, even their own portco LinkedIn. So do keep that in mind that career progression/acceleration and pay will suffer if you go there compared to a fast paced company like Stripe. Check www.levels.fyi for more info....

Thanks mate - anyone here can share resources for interview prep etc?

What would hours look like at one of the more fast paced places like Stripe?

I've heard nothing but good things about Microsoft. Have a buddy that is starting there (2-3 years of work experience) with a $150K base in some finance or strategy gig + bonus + equity. The hours are cushy, the people are nice, and the dress code is lax.
