Corporate Development out of college expectations?

Just finished my masters.  Went undergrad straight to masters for context.  I am being offered a job in a Corp Dev Associate role.  The firm is currently doing a ton of acquisitions.  They're sending over their official offer after the long weekend.  Any insight or advice on if it is a good move to accept this or hold out for other IB roles and one long shot PE role I've been interviewing for? Genuinely curious, if people think it would not be a wise move to start here.    I've already started the process of the CFA exams if that makes any difference on the situation in terms of long term career progression.
