Project Management

I have 5 years of experience in Operations Management and just started a Project Management position. I am really enjoying it so far but needed to know if there is big future in it. Also how much can I really raise my income in it down the line in Banking business?

I used to work in Finance Division of a tier 1 IB (JP / GS / MS etc), in London. I knew a few people in project management and they had such a good package, literally 9-5 job with low stress and they were paid well (for non front office).

The real money here is in contracting, some of these folks at an Associate level are getting paid GBP 450-500 per day
