How to become a ER analysts
Just finished my undergrad. Currently working in DCM in HK, main work is execution and credit advisory which prepare presentation materials and financial model for companies wishing to get a rating for their bond. I have passed CFA level 1 and both part of FRM. My goal is become an equity PM or analyst. Should I go for some sell side equity research in a top institution such as GS or MS( not sure if I could get in)? Or an analyst role in top 3 CRA also help before I could jump to buyside as an analyst?
