I've spent a lot of time looking for info on this too and its either hard to be found or given as a very wide range.

I hope more people will share in this thread.

A few people that have reported some numbers on this board have said

80-90K post MBA @ BB

I just got offered a job at a (what I think is prestigious) MM boutique with a base salary of 55K (post undergrad)

Every single kid that I've spoken with that has taken a IB (whether BB or top boutique) have uniformly received 70K base+10K signing.

WAY too low post MBA at BB. You get 70K base + 10K signing out of undergrad at a BB. Bonuses at BAML were 50k top bucket for first years in research in 08 I believe to put it in perspective a little.

 

Damn.

I THOUGHT that was the going rate but when I got my salary info I got more conservative,

I guess the difference between BB and MM is bigger than I thought; perhaps I can renegotiate my salary after my first performance review.
