As much as I despise the logo, Canada Goose is ridiculously warm and will serve you well. As someone who came from the warmer side of the states and moved to the frigid winters of nyc, my CG jacket served me really well to the point that I could wear it with a tshirt and be fine in typical winter weather.

Now I wear a burberry jacket which has been warm as hell too but imo just looks better but I'm into that.

Moncler is nice too but I really do think they are overpriced coming from someone who is always down to spend on nice clothes. Their prices go up year over year for the same jackets and their aesthetic tends to be similar to CG except shinier. Warmth-wise they are pretty much the same as CG so between the two, it comes down to the logo you want to display on the sleeve. A comparable CG jacket might be 800 while the Moncler will be around 2500.

Moncler > CG. Moncler has better warmth/weight. After all Moncler is made for skiing. Canada Goose is a bit bulky imo. Avoid the shiny Monclers, you look like plastic trash bags. Btw what Burberry you rocking? I am doing a Kensington with fleece lining. But in the winter I think it does well but doesn’t really cover the face.
