Lol Europacific Capital is not a hedge fund it's a broker/dealer.
Look into Mark Spitznagel and Peter Thiel. Both are Austrians and both run hedge funds.
What exactly would an Austrian strategy entail besides buying precious metals? I always thought it was more of a strategy for monetary policy than investing.
examples of potential austrian ideas could include:
-predicting when monetary stimulus will wear off and fail to short indexes, ect -betting against government programs like sallie mae -betting against gov take-overs like GM -betting for emerging markets that show more freedom like mauritius
and The Man is wrong. schiff's company runs mutual funds and does personal management
Check Paul Brodsky & Lee Quaintance's QB Partners, you can find a few letters/comments on Ritholtz blog
Also for an Austrian inspired analysis see Jamil Baz (of GLG's Atlas) paper called "Gambling for Resurrection" on GLG's website
