Biotech ER Shop to Maximize Future HF Placement
I’m completing my PhD this summer and looking to enter into a healthcare/biotech role in ER. I’m of the understanding that Analyst matters much more than firm and have narrowed my list of target shops down with this in mind and from what sector friends have mentioned to me. I’m looking to start reaching out to SVB, Cowen, Guggenheim, LifeSci Capital, and Chardan - realistically, could all of these shops provide a way to break into a HF in a few years time? I’m also looking for a solid culture/environment and don’t mind being at a boutique/smaller firm. And is ~150k total comp year 1 fair in NYC?
