Canadian HF: Picton Mahoney

There has been limited discussion on this forum in regards to Canadian HFs such as Picton Mahoney, Polar, NothStream, AlphaNorth, etc. - so I wanted to be able to ask a few questions about Picton Mahoney in particular if anyone has had any experience with them. A couple of alumni from my school have been hired there so I wanted to ask a few questions on here prior to reaching out to them in the next couple of months.

Beyond reading their website, it is hard to find much about them outside of them having $10b AUM and that their credit-focused strategies often outperform their Canadian HF peers (on a return and sharpe ratio basis).

Do they have a good reputation in comparison to their peers?

Are they known for having a good work/life balance?

Would there be good exit opportunities in comparison to American HFs?

Does anyone know the rough compensation for an equity analyst role (limited information on WSO/Glassdoor)?
