DE Shaw SA Interview
Hi,
I recently completed my case study for the DE Shaw Group and have been invited to a 1.5-hour interview. Does anybody have any advice on how to prep? Is technical knowledge essential? Any tips would be helpful :)
Thank you.
Did it last year and it was super technical - ie, very granular on M&A and LBOs. You passed their behavioral round so I'd pretty much only spend time on hard technicals
That’s weird, mine was massive behaviors, open-end discussions of market views and stock pitch follow-ups.
And I suspect they are not gonna spend much time on finance topics unless u have a typical finance resume. From my experience of the whole process, it’s very personally tailored interview, almost impossible to be fully prepared, just get ready mentally and treat it as a chill conversation.
Btw why on earth does a HF ask you LBOs and M&A lol if there is any tech, it should be either quant or fundamental stock pitch
he is trolling
That's really odd. Was this for London or NY?
Hey can I pm you? Thanks :)
