Holocene Advisors? Interview and Process

Already searched the forum for info and found lil bit, but....

  • Anyone familiar with the interview process - is there a modeling test at some point or is it just a case study/stock pitch situation?

  • Investment strategy run like Citadel? (market neutral, short term trading style - or is it actually a bit longer duration?)

  • Any additional details on the firm reputation / culture wise / general impressions would be great as well. Thanks

- Market neutral but slightly longer term/flexible drawdown. Not multi PMs but "sector heads" working all under the CIO. Sector heads have senior analysts and then associates work under senior analysts. Typical citadel ge / surveryor

- What they told me is "we don't trade quarters but we pay a lot of attention to them"

- Culture from what I can sense is team dependent but can get very sweaty and long hours like most successful neutral pods.

- interview process: talk to head HR lady, then sector head/senior analyst, then I think a case round. I got dinged before case round so not too sure.

No I spoke with the HR person and then senior analyst then got dinged. From what I heard/sensed Brandon is super hands on and involved, also part of why the firm has a intense culture
