Stockbroker wanting to transition to Hedge Funds

Hello, I wanted to get some advice on the best way to transition into hedge funds from my current broker position. Right now I specialize in connecting buyers and sellers for Pre IPO transactions but I've been trading my own account and my true passion would be working for a L/S or value oriented fund. I do not have an undergraduate degree and I know that's a big set back but I'm curious to know if my experience and track record can me in the door. Thanks everyone!
