Deutsche Bank Spring conversion – help needed

Hi everyone,

After attending the spring week at DB in April, they have sent ACs to convert into summer. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience in terms of what kind of technical questions they might ask for a spring conversion?

Additionally, does anyone know what the best teams are at DB so I can target those if I potentially get a summer offer?

Thanks

DB ask everyone similar technical Qs. Walk me through DCF, LBO (high level), multiples, EV, basic accounting (depreciation goes up, link 3 statements). They do love asking macro questions such as rates / price of oil. Can get asked how is the market now, and expect follow up Qs based on what you say.

For sector team, Industrials >>> TMT > Infra = REGL >>> the rest. I would avoid consumer, terrible culture and still 0 deal flow despite several senior hires. Industrials will work you hard but great experience, head of the team is a machine

If you are interested, LevFin is one of the best on the street. Currently very lean and looking for juniors due to very high deal flow

lol I got the conversion interview soon too mine is in late May so if yours is earlier you can help me out, and if mine is earlier I’ll let you know
