It's a 'Evergreen' posting e.g. they're not actively recruiting graduates

 

An evergreen position never opens or closes so you can basically apply whenever but that doesn’t mean there’s necessarily space for anyone at all

 

Why close the 'evergreen' position early? Isn't it defeating the whole purpose? If they were just checking the demand, why not leave it out for longer? Why post a deadline when it is 'evergreen'?
