High finance comp ceiling India

Hey folks
At a crucial point in my career and deciding upon whether to go into high finance ( think IB/PE) or not. Comp is a major factor. Would really appreciate if someone can give the data regarding how much the top earning IB MDs and PE partners make in India? ( whole comp breakup)

Region

Interned at a top Indian bank, was in the ECM team. The VP their earned ~84 LPA in base and at least 1.2 CR in bonus (one transaction, annual bonus unknown).
Analyst pay (post MBA) can be north of 24 LPA TC.

Numbers will vary from FO ECM team for an Indian bank as compared to FO M&A offshore team at MNC, but hopefully this gives a picture.

Long story short, yes there is a shit ton of money in India in IB and PE.
