Landing Analyst Job Straight From Undergrad Without IB Experience

I was wanting some input from you guys. I am a senior with a finance major coming from a non target school who will be graduating this upcoming winter. I have a 3.9 cumulative gpa and a 4.0 major gpa. As for experience I have worked as a data analyst intern at a fortune 50 company for a summer. I also will be working this upcoming summer at a fortune 20 company as a finance intern (will probably be placed in FP&A). I have good leadership experience on my resume from holding positons in clubs in school. I want to break into IB in Atlanta or Charlotte as a full time analyst upon graduation. What do you guys believe my chances of accomplishing this would be considering the fact that I have no IB experience? Any advice to help me with this journey over the next 9 months will greatly be appreciated.

Graduate highschool and get into a semi-target or target. It is easy if you get SA positions as much as possible in your college Summers. It's not easy if you are from target, just easier. You will be competing against classmates who have a harder degree and high scores.

HFs are too diverse in their org structure to make a blanket statement. There are many HFs who do nothing like what the prop desks at banks do. For example, here are two analyst level position at the same firm with completely different responsibilities:

http://www.ellington.com/employment-cdoanalyst.html
http://www.ellington.com/employment-associate.html

The former might resemble a position at a prop desk. The latter resembles a position in research at a bank. For DE Shaw, Citadel etc it would depend on what division you are in. Both have websites which list the various businesses they are in which should give you a good idea.
