need suggestions here, thank you

Hey, I am in the final year of masters program (China), and now in the process of job hunting. I have internviewed with two BBs before (HK and BJ positions), yet no one seems to go well (I think my english and experiences need to be improved). right now, I am thinking about doing an overseas internship or education program, which I think is good for gaining a exposure to global market. the problem is, the internships I am about to apply for do not include investment banking or other finance firms, do you guys think it would be worth it if I took an overseas internship at a market research firm or small consultancy for 3-6 months in UK or some other countries? If I took this internship, I would have to delay my graduation for one year and looking for a ft job next year. Besides, I might have the chance to get an ft offer from the domestic IB I am now interning in. what choice do you suggest: hold on to the current internship and see if i can get return offer, or take the overseas non-finance internship program and apply for BB next year.

Thanks very much!
