Networking help with an MD
Hi all,
I've been networking with an MD in London for a couple months now. I sent him an update about a month and a half ago and this was the last time we had contact. Before that he told me to grab a coffee if I come to London (I'm in mainland Europe).
My question is, considering the holidays season, should I send him a short merry christmas email? Or is that too personal or needy considering this is the time he probably wants to focus on his family and not hungry kids looking for a job. I am planning to schedule a trip in February to go meet him (we only networked over the phone up until this point) and I will have to send him an update about my progress / coffee chat request some time in January to do so.
What are your thoughts?
I do that, but personally I would avoid sending it Dec 24 or 25. Otherwise go for it.
What if he's jewish?
Safe to say happy holidays
Would do early jan wishing good year etc
