Please help: MS ECM VS. RBS Lev Fin - Must decide by Monday

Don't know whether to go with the name brand or with the better quality work. I would like to work on the buyside eventually, but am not sure which of these groups would open more doors. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

While the MS name is nice, RBS isn't that bad either. When it comes time to go to business school or apply for your next job, the quality of your work is going to be the determining factor, not the name of your bank. Also, you want to choose the area that interests you the most. Remember, you don't just sign up and then move on to the next job. You actually have to go to work every day all day and do your job, so choose what you like doing.

I am more interested in lev fin because it builds a more quantitative skill set relative to ECM (I've spent time in ECM already); however, I am hesitant because I do not know if going to RBS will open doors to the buyside.

More opinions would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.
