Every coverage group at Blair is a grind. Regardless of what other ppl might say, it’s a very good firm with great bankers

I interned there and decided not to go back. HC and Tech are the busiest teams obviously with good deal flows, but they're also two biggest at the firm.

I've seen people grinding staffed on multiple different things, but at the same time, some stayed low-key and just mad chilling. Culture was good in every group - never heard anyone complain about it.

I don't know how WLB has shifted after they kept most seniors and fired a relatively larger portion of the junior team (an - asso), pushing the start date of incoming classes to October, and workflows slowly coming back.

From my short time there, consumer/retail and what they call industrial growth product team appeared to have the worst WLB, not necessarily because of good deal flows, but lack of manpower. Hope this helps

Tech and HC are less busy now. And in general they are more chill than other groups in terms of hours. Supply chain, consumers, industrials, TES have relatively longer hours bc they need bodies
