The Analyst Exchange/Intern Advice

I'm looking for any advice for this upcoming spring recruiting season for I-banking and corporate finance. More specifically, I'm curious about The Analyst Exchange and their 5-day sessions (public courses). There is one coming up in Chicago from December 5-9th that I am looking into. I was wondering if anyone has done this program, is it worth the $2500, and how much would it help in landing interviews if I were to complete it and put it on my resume?

I'm a junior at a target school for I-banking and am looking for an I-banking (or corporate finance) internship for summer '12. I am currently around a 3.4gpa, with solid leadership experience in my involvement on-campus, however I have no "real-world" finance experience yet. Being that I am not at the 3.5 cutoff for a lot of BB banks, would doing something like AnEx help my chances for smaller botiques? Thanks in advance!
