Aim For Boutique IB Internship vs. Bulge Bracket IB Internship (Soph 2024 SA)
Hi all,
Curious what people will recommend. I am a rising sophomore (non-diversity) at a top target and am wondering if it is smarter to just shoot for a boutique IB internship for next summer vs. a bulge bracket internship. Obviously the BB internship would be the goal but given I am non-diversity it seems more realistic to shoot for the boutique banks. Does firm status really mean a lot for sophomore internships?
