Title is pretty self-explanatory. I’ve been trying to break into an IB Analyst position from a consulting background (0-1 years at my FT role). I would prefer to work in either M&A or a TMT or Consumer coverage group, but I’m very open about this search. What banks are friendly to laterals with no previous experience in the industry? Also, what should I be focusing on, aside from nailing modeling?

learn everything in the WSO technical interview guide and apply to every opening you see...even if it is at a place/in a group you aren't super pumped about, it is a lot easier to move within IB from the inside, rather than from the outside.
