Brown Advisory

Just saw a posting for an Private Equity Analyst position at Brown Advisory in Baltimore. Anyone have any insight into the firm? Pay, hours, culture, etc, just looking for the normal stuff. Thanks for all responders.

I know a few people that work there. An offshoot from DB/Alex Brown/Legg Mason. They mostly run institutional and private client money along with a handful of mutual funds that are probably mostly their client's money anyway. Don't know about hours on the PE side, but on the AM they seem pretty standard (50-60 ish). I think you can expect pay to be on the low end since it will be based out of Baltimore. People I know there like it. It has a great brand in Baltimore not to sure about beyond that.
