How hard is it to get into a bank or PE as an international student at a Target/semi target uni studying masters in finance and econ

I study at Durham University, good grades in Undergrad which I did in econ and data science from a prominent uni back in India.
I want to know how hard is it to break into the industry with no prior experience and please feel free to drop some tips
