Likelihood of finding a FO IB job without a 2nd language - EMEA
Hi Everyone,
Just had a query I wondered if anyone would assist me with. I am a 18 year old student who is starting university next year. I will be reading Geography at the London School of Economics. I am very keen on embarking on a career in investment banking, but am slightly worried my lack of linguistic skills will let me down. Would it be unheard of for someone to be offered a position in an investment bank, given that they only speak English? (Particularly in the EMEA region) If this is the case, then I will need to start looking into taking classes at university.
Thanks in advance.
