Market risk in physical commodities or fixed income?
I want to break into trading role. I recently completed an MSc which specializes in physical commodities trading. I have back office experience. I am close to getting a market risk offer from a top asian bank in London. I am also in initial interview phase with an american physical commodities firm. What are my odds to break into front office role from market risk in finance vs energy ? I will 28 in couple of months. I think at this point age is a factor.
