private equity analyst or trading desk

Happy to have been offered two spots for summer 2022. First is at a trading desk (won't be more specific for privacy reasons) at a v large (over 10bn aum) hedge fund in London. Second choice is an internship in a v large private equity fund (over 50bn aum) in a tier 2 city.
Whats the best choice, on the long run, to maximise earnings?
