Really want to work in LA, how to make it happen?

So 6 months in to my IB stint in a pretty decent smaller tech M&A group. I’ve always wanted to live in LA and did a trip recently, also have family there. The lifestyle is so much better for me than San Francisco, I really want to move after my analyst stint. Problem is I have a bit of an unusual path to IB (non-target), but already have a closed deal/am studying for interviews. Skipped on cycle because wanted more time to learn the industry and my preferences. Do you think it’ll be doable?
