Sub-3.5 GPA for GSAM and GS Market risk

Hi,

Female monkey here. Junior, Maths and Econs, international, non/semi-target (think quality North East LACs with > 10 alums at each BBs). Screwed up 2 classes in last 2 years so GPA slid to sub 3.5 range (about 3.3); one of the classes was finance but improved by taking a more advanced one and got A.

Sophomore summer I did finance-related research internship at a target university (does it even matter?) and did math/stat work at a NYC start-up, will be involved in capital raising process of this company in september (roadshow...). First year did a PWM internship in Asia.

What is my chance for GSAM, GS Market risk and the similar functions in other BBs? What can I do to increase my chance? If you suggest networking, what's some specific thing I can do to make the most out of it? (I have talked to several people at all the firms I will apply to, will talk for the first time to an MD in GSAM who is an alum).
