Thoughts On Monomoy Capital Partners And Should I Take Offer?

So I just got an offer for 2024 SA at Monomoy Capital Partners, I like the firm but I'd love to hear thoughts from others on rep/culture/hours/exit opps etc. I couldn't find  many good up to date posts on it. They're only giving me the weekend to decide, but im currently in the process for IBat centerview (had a 1st round that I think went really well), Cowen (had a sd), and Goldman (hirevue) and I'm also in the process for a few good GE firms. What should I do? commiting to a firm I don't know much about the rep of and can't find much info on it is a scary prospect, especially when I'm in the process for several well respected firms.

Their bios on their website are pretty funny, any PE fund capable of being a little self-deprecating is worth taking.

Accept and if something better comes along renege. Make sure to not update your LinkedIn until you begin working.

Probably too late now but I've heard good things about Monomoy generally. Their heritage was three guys spinning out of KPS so have always had a turnaround, distressed angle. Now seems more value-oriented more than anything else, which is sexy for the first time in...10+ years. MiddleGround spun out of these guys but I've heard the main guy at MiddleGround was fired rather than actually spun out.

Given Monomoy plays in the LMM segment, could provide you with valuable deal experience that you wouldn't get at larger shops. I'd say they're certainly well-regarded generally.
