Warwick Vs KCL
Hello,
I'm currently applying for the university. I would like to go to work after my master's degree. Ultimately, my indecision boils down to the following " what university is the best for landing an investment banking job in London: KCL or Warwick". Until now, I have an offer of Finacial analysis at KCL and an offer of business analysis at Warwick. So, which one I prefer to select?
Thank you so much for your help!
Warwick. KCL is not a target.
Thank you for your advise.
Kcl, the people around you are more important
Thank you.
And they'll be better at Warwick. Congrats on Kings btw
Thank you!
Analysis is not the same as analytics.
Honestly neither of these are particularly good for IB, they're much closer suited to like a data analyst or something. Even if these were MFins, it would be hard to get into IB (assuming no previous experience).
I don't think your outcomes will change at either uni.
Your comment was very inspiring to me. So, I wonder if I get CFA, it will help me into IB?
Nope, CFA doesn't really help with IB recruiting. At least not proportionally to the effort required.
At BofA Warwick definitely preferred over KCL. Your KCL application goes into the file with 100s of other “non target” applications unfortunately
Thank you for your advise!
