UVA student thinking of future as quant/prop trader
Hey,
I'm a first year (I know) at UVA. I've signed up here because of my growing interest in quant work/prop shops. Generally, I just want to figure out how to best use my time at UVA to get myself to where I want to be, and really find out if I want to do this stuff for my career. I'm probably going to be asking a bunch of basic questions, but I'm gonna assume that's at least partially what these forums are for, and that if I can't find the answers to these questions, others are having the same problems.
Thanks in advance for putting up with my shit.
