got cleaned on runescape
title says it all. not sure what the point of life is anymore.
to add salt to the wound, i was staking during a modeling assumptions call and missed all the assumptions and the time i was supposed to send out a meeting invite for the next call.
How much you get cleaned for? Stats?
Lol just 160mm but I came to the arena with only 10mm. Was hoping to walk away 20x with 200mm.
82 attack 99 str 80 defense 96hp 99 range 99 magic
Pretty nasty account. Botted / Bought / Legit?
paid venezuelans to train it for me. they work for $2-5usd a day and accept bitcoin.
wow that fucking sucks lol. which RS is this? havent played rs in ages and idk if its worth gerting into now
OSRS
Ew sand casino
Haven’t played in a decade...so much nostalgia
Red:glow2: Whip 10m ~ Tax Evasion
That sucks, tbh I'd just buy more GP.
buying gf 2k
Selling YEW LOGS - 100 GP
Ask around at the GE, someone gotta have some spare Mith armor
sucks man. I turned 40m into 2b a few months ago and then lost it a week later. now I don’t play RS.
thats incredibly depressing, why were you staking 2bil?
Wanted 4b probably, scythe and skills etc etc.
Would love the time to go back and revisit the game, but that’s not going to happen.
Back in the day (2004?) was lvl 90 something, had a few mil, a whip etc. Life was good. Great memories, thanks for the reminder lol.
Selling MINED BLANK RUNES - market price
I used to PK with the best of them
Nerds
Got to 87 Fletching. My favorite skill was that. You be surprised how closely related Runescape market is to the real market. The grand exchange is just like the stock exchange. RS3 ruined everything and Old School Runescape is the best though. Still remember flipping dragon helms for 50k profit each time in different worlds.
Recently read on reddit that there was a huge duping bug in OSRS.
Tempted to go check it out again.... I wrote a script for 99 ranged and fixed a broken one for mage and the minigame for the void gear. Rage quit when i got DC'd and lost my void gear...
Got pked by the PK clan too on a separate occasion.
Runescape got me interested in business tbh, almost mentioned it in an interview once but didn't have the sack
Who else learned a shit load about basic business; bartering, trading, merchanting at the Grand Exchange or even before it in Varrock's west bank?
Honestly, the game that taught me the most about money management was the Sim City series. Take a lot of debt, loan up, build shit, make sure you build shit that gives returns higher than the interest plus some.
Tbh though, the game best suited for finance is Europa Universalis IV, which I used to play occasionally till a while back (introduced to it by my VP incidentally). Take a fuckton of loans, build up an army and your country's moneymaking infra with that, then either keep expanding so that your income outpaces your interests by a lot, or declare bankruptcy if you can't, while keeping most of the gains - just like in business today.
