JUUL: A Grave Risk to Public Health

So Israel's Health Ministry has signed an edict to ban JUUL e-cigs in its country, claiming that:

it contains nicotine at a concentration higher than 20 milligrams per milliliter and poses "a grave risk to public health".

A JUUL spokesperson has stated that the decision was politically motivated. Apparently, JUUL has now petitioned to Israel's High Court that the government has established a "double standard" since they are allowing tobacco companies to promote their own e-cigs that also contained "high amounts of nicotine."

JUUL issued this statement:

It is not possible to accept the conduct of a regulator working in the dark, with a hidden agenda and strengthening the status of the tobacco companies at the expense of an alternative designed to save millions of smokers the cancerous influence of consuming tobacco

I don't really know how successful JUUL is going to be with their petition. In my opinion, it is clear that there is an agenda against JUUL since Israel’s Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman has been pretty rough with his campaigning against the e-cig company.

What are your opinions on this case? How likely would JUUL be able to overturn that decision?
