The way I read this- you sound like you struggle with anxiety and depression (not a therapist saying you have this, but you were prescribed Zoloft so I’m assuming you were diagnosed by a professional). Depression doesn’t discriminate. My life is objectively good and my wife is incredibly supportive, but I still have some days it’s hard to get out of bed. Your best bet is to see a professional again, make sure to take care of yourself. If you were feeling flu symptoms for a week you’d probably go see a doc (it’s even easier now with it being virtual). Likewise, your mental health is still health- go see a professional.

Thread confirms the correlation between woke beliefs and mental illnesses. Liberalism confirmed for mental disease. Now, for the cure...

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Libs have completely lost it..you are correlating too many things that probably have a weak correlation at best.

Have you thought about hitting the gym to relieve some stress?? I’ve built a strong personal and professional network through communicating to people at my gym.

OP you are not alone. Many, many people are going through similar feelings (even if they have good jobs they can do from home too). The lack of socialization is unhealthy (and can't be fully replicated with phone calls/Zoom, IMO) and tough even for those who have their health and wealth. Pass me your ex's number though :)

Dude that girl is probably reeling to be with anyone but this complete beta. OP: did you ever have any conversations with her about your white privilege?

Haha no I didn't. The thread title was a poor wording choice I think - I really just meant to say I'm in a very fortunate position and yet still complaining lol. But yeah you guys are right - reading the post back it did come across as extremely self-pitying. So the monkey sh*t is the reality check I needed lol.

Thanks guys for all the kind words/tough love - you're right I need to stop wallowing in my own pity and just get on with things! Certainly with Covid things right now could be much much worse for me.
