More of a corporate vibe but they absolutely crush it and are consistently top performing. People always think VCs just network and don't work but if you are a junior person at any of these large, well-known firms, your day-to-day is going to be stressful and you will work a lot without getting paid very much (compared to PE). May as well go somewhere you can learn a lot or where you can take ownership of your work. Also as an FYI Accel juniors work on growth-stage deals, not early-stage, at least from what I know.
Echoing above -> Accel analyst program is in their growth equity division; you don't touch early stage deals. This is typical of most programs at the analyst level (Norwest is another one that comes to mind). Bessemer is one of the few programs where this isn't the case

No but I was guided to look at the prevalence of ex-banking folks as opposed to a place like A16Z where it's all ex-startup folks
