Bounce back from work low points?

Hi guys:

I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this - has any of you bounced back from low points at work? Be it - under performance, challenging relationship with team, being passed over/demoted/moved down, etc.?

Does "bounce back" actually work? How did you make it work?

Thanks!

Yea I bounced back, generally the baseline is good attitude, willingness to put in the work, and receptivity to/action on feedback. For me I had to broach the subject and say to my manager, “look, I know this is not working, I’m not happy with this either. I’m having trouble with X, and I need your help getting there. I have the brain, effort, and attitude, I just need some guidance as the missing link between where I am and where I need to be”. Most people will work with you / give you another shot. I’m still a garbage associate on technical terms but I’ve gotten to where it’s no longer a problem, so I can shine where my strengths actually are. Hope this helps man good luck and stay positive, I know how bad it feels to underperform but 3-6+ months of hard work and you can dig yourself out
