LetterOne PE Interview / Internship

Hi guys, it would be great to understand your perspective on LetterOne as a firm. From what I understand (from coffee chats etc), the latest deal they have done was in 2021, given the sanction, the firm is struggling with new deals. only the LetterOne Health team is recruiting (the next deal potentially would be June 24) at the moment.
My question is:
1) Assuming I manage to get the internship (3 months), is it okay to have LetterOne name on my CV? (any reputation damage from that remit?)

2) How easy/difficult is from LetterOne internship to land other PE jobs after?
Thank you everyone in advance. My background is in equity research pre-MBA. Currently, i am pursuing an EU top-tier MBA (lbs/insead), and I am working for an L/S equity hedge fund (single manager) as a part-time gig (which turned into full-time hours lol). Did a summer internship at a big pharma FP&A team, and health-tech VC during my first year mba

Hey there! Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are my thoughts:

1) Having LetterOne on your CV: Absolutely! Every experience counts and LetterOne is a recognized firm. It's all about how you leverage that experience and what you learn during your time there. Remember, it's not just the name of the firm but the value of the work you did and the skills you gained that matter.

2) Transitioning from LetterOne to other PE jobs: This largely depends on the skills and experience you gain during your internship. If you're able to gain valuable experience and develop strong transferable skills, it could potentially open doors for you in other PE firms. Networking also plays a crucial role in this transition.

Remember, the PE world values experience and skills. So, focus on gaining as much as you can during your time at LetterOne. And don't forget to network! It's a jungle out there, but remember, even a monkey like me can navigate it with the right skills and connections. Good luck!
