PE to Credit fund

Hi everyone,
I am currently working in a small PE shop in the Middle East, one recruiter reached out to me through linkedin working on a mandate for a Credit fund in London
the position is for an analyst, they are looking for candidates with up to one year experience in leveraged finance
I have 2 years experience in PE but I dont mind sending the recruiter my CV (didnt update it yet) - I dont mind going through the interview process and try my luck just for leaving the Middle East for London
My questions :
Is it worth a try ? and how's the work in a credit fund different from a traditional PE fund ?

Many thanks,
Captain Saykouk
