Extremely hard working. But I get the sense it's full of guys who do it to themselves, rather than a classic sweatshop, which, in my book, is an important distinction.

These guys are sharp. When I say sharp I mean sharp. Full stop, impressive. Take their software deals for example. Go look at what they did with Magento. It's around their website somewhere. A modest... 8x in a few years. It was both good investing and a good playbook.

They are uniquely on top of things. Their deal processes chug along at impressive consistency at the merit of their VPs knowing how to run a process.

They staff cross-border (global) deal teams, so you may have a Partner in [European City] and an Associate in [inconvenient time zone American city].

I have heard from a friend that the interview is tough and could probably connect you with them over a PM if that's what you're wondering about...

Hey! Some really interesting points above, thanks for them. Do you remember what sort of things your friend said about the interview process in particular? Thanks!

Culture there is all right. I have three friends there who are broadly happy with the environment and execution experience. On the cons side, you have cash comp (compensated with carry from the beginning) and progression visibility (long and unpredictable “Investment Professional” program).

I'm grateful that I have two middle fingers, I only wish I had more.

According to at least one poindexter on glassdoor they're cool with blackface at parties. Def a top target if you wanna be the next Canadian PM amiright guys? :DDDDDDD

All seriousness though top notch firm. Know a few guys who have coinvested with them multiple times, nothing but the highest praise.
