Second thoughts about MM/LMM offer

Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of buyers' remorse for accepting my MM/LMM (fund size $1-5 billion) PE offer after getting top bucket reviews / comp this year at a BB. Comp at the fund I am joining is a bit lower than I would have expected, and I am worried this opportunity will expose me to less long-term career opportunities than I'd like.

For now, I still think I want to give it a shot, since I have great rapport with the team and I have interest in the companies they work with, but I had a couple questions:

Has anyone re-recruited after accepting an offer, or have any insight in moving up-market during associate years? Would like to stay in MM PE but potentially at a larger fund.

How do MBA admissions look from LMM funds?
