Career Resources
They recruit in the fall, and will basically only recruit from Wharton, Stanford and Ivey. My understanding is that each school has a different process for selecting candidates, but it's driven by the previous summer interns/full-time analysts and then they are funneled into a super day.
Thanks - how many kids do they typically take each summer?
Historically they take 1 (and on are occasions 2) each from Ivey and Wharton, for both their NYC and Menlo offices. If they've begun hiring analysts from Stanford as well then it's very recent. It's a highly selective process.
for summer 2020, they recruited really late in the fall (september/october) at my target. this was not ideal as I had IB offers that expired in late-august... and they were not open to accelerating interviews. Because they recruited so late, I would assume the process wasn't as competitive as I know most of the hardos at my school had signed before they even started interviewing.
This is interesting, thanks
Anyone know what they look for in their summer analyst application?
HYP and 4.0 and being a fan of Manchester City
Usually some tech related work the summer before. I'd echo above though, not as competitive as you would think, their analysts aren't super impressive imo
Lol based on what aren’t they impressive? They’ve gotten ~1/3 of the Wharton valedictorians over the past decade (and those that aren’t are equally impressive).
to be fair, Wharton = safety school
This has changed, as mentioned above they didn't recruit until the fall, when most of the top kids had accepted other offers
.
Curious what's their analyst (not associates) pay (base + bonus)?
You pay them for the prestige of working there (or you can look in one of the dozens of other recent threads that mentions this).
actually trying to find those threads cuz there are very few data points on analyst (NOT associate) compensation
Bump on this, anyone have any updates from this cycle?
