Undergraduate to PE in India

I am currently an undergraduate student (final year) at a top law school in India. While I do understand that law is not one of the conventional routes to any finance jobs (at least in India), I wrote CFA L1 to show my interest in finance. I also have the experience of interning with a BB as a summer financial analyst (in India: did mostly legal work though), and currently networking my way for an internship with an Indian front-end IB. With 6 months left before I graduate, I was wondering if there is a way I can break into PE directly from undergrad (especially given my legal background). My experience tells me that most BB PE funds in India have people who spent two years at MBB/BB IB/Chartered Accountants with prior work ex but nobody straight from under graduation. Is there any advice?

P.S. Still have approximately 3 months left to intern

Thanks
