My questions were almost exclusively behavioral - tell us about yourself, why real estate, why do I want a role in advisory (which I botched), and they asked if I knew what the 10yr was. Didn't take more than 15-20 minutes. Second round is the modeling "assessment" and they grill you with technical questions then.

This i really helpful thanks man - from what i’ve heard first round is pretty chill second w the test is where it gets sticky

Can confirm the first round is really an opportunity for them to get to know you and review your resume/talk about your background. I have only positive things to say about my experience and genuinely enjoyed talking to the people I spoke with. I'd say the only thing I'd recommend is just check the benchmark indices and rates before your interview because they use them interchangeably. Not a bad idea to add this to your standard interview prep because I was asked this at a couple of different shops.
