Greystar Development

I applied to Greystar's Investments team in Charleston and their Development teams in Dallas and Charleston. I was told today that they would move on with other candidates for the development roles. Did anyone get an interview with either of those teams? And has anyone heard back from the investments team as well? Thanks

What’s up with everyone having a hard on for Greystar recently.

I’m on the other side as an LP and we recently dropped one of their development deals due to market conditions. Maybe it’s a developer thing, but somewhat seems like they are pushing forward wherever they can and acknowledge the recession in conversation, but beyond that , they’ll keep cranking.

Hahaha. Not a Boston deal. But I would say that from conversations and reviewing underwriting, it doesn't seem that you all are acknowledging the upcoming recession as much as your capital partners may be. Again, maybe that’s a developer bias. Not throwing shade, just curious what your thoughts are on this and wanted to share my viewpoint.
