Aside from the larger players we all know, anyone know of other NYC debt funds that play higher up in the cap stack / possibly within distressed debt and pay well?

Some of these are equity players that do selective debt deals, but high in the stack, which makes for more interesting portfolios. Can't say how all of these pay though:
